Study: Kansas’ higher education system creates $7.3B economic impact

Higher education in Kansas is a significant economic driver. The state’s higher education system, consisting of 32 public colleges and universities, produced $7.3 billion in overall economic impact in 2010, according to a new study commissioned by the Kansas Board of Regents. The board released its study Wednesday. Ernest Goss from the Goss Institute of Public Research of Denver did the study.
